Dr. Prem Kumar Sital Das Memorial Trust is set up for the well-being of humanity in the region of Tharparkar with a nationwide aim and scope. Dr. Prem Kumar Vankwani passed away in April 2021. In the grief and sadness of his untimely departure, the Vankwani family decided to carry forward the legacy of their late eldest brother. His legacy contains his pain for humanity and passion for public welfare. The family decided to make his name immortal by building a multidimensional trust to serve the underprivileged members of society. The trust was founded on October 25, 2021, in Islamkot.Premnagar which is a model village, is the first project of the Trust being built in Islamkot, the native birthplace of Dr. Prem Kumar. The Trust has initially acquired 110 acres of land for this noble cause. Islamkot is the central point that connects Chachro, Nangarparker, and many other important places in the Tharparkar region.
Family members of the Vankwani family including the younger brothers and the eldest daughter of Dr. Prem Kumar constitute the board of trustees of the welfare organization. Dr. Ramesh Vankwani is acting as a chairman of the trust, while Dr. Shahdev Vankwani is the vice chairman. The youngest brother Dr Harish Kumar is serving as general secretary of the trust. This trust aims to serve humanity without discrimination of color, caste, creed, or religion. The trust is working day and night with the active support of the Government of Sindh. Some noteworthy NGOs are also working in collaboration—renowned people known for their outstanding services in welfare like Sanitor Javed Jabbar and Rtd. Air Commander Shabeer is also a well-wisher of the Premnagar project and supports the trust selflessly with their valuable advice and inputs.
What we do
Dr. Prem Kumar Sital Das Memorial Trust is setting new standards of welfare and service to humanity. The Trust aims to bring a positive and notable change in the lives of the most deprived people of the most backward area of Sindh, Tharparkar. Joining hands with some of the most reliable and successful welfare organizations to bring prosperity and freedom from the hardships of their lives. To build the branches of several institutes to serve and mitigate different destitute sectors of society like disabled and aged people with no one to take care of. Undertake arrangements for Orphanages, vocational centres, campus for special children and the health and education and all sectors that are in compassed by the philanthropic activities of Children and Adults residing in the Human localities around and in the vicinity of the said Trust, Human Beings across the country. Acquire properties by lawful means for the expansion, uplifts and progress of the said Trust. Adopt, approve and prescribe curriculum for imparting education to the Children's of the Trust. Secure, receive endowments and subscriptions or any other immovable property or properties from all sources by lawful means and to utilize them for furthering and promoting the aim and objects of the said trust. Establish, found, build and assists, set up, maintain, administer and run schools, Colleges/Universities/Health Centres, Hostels, Accommodations, and alike other institutions to propagate and out of the purpose aforesaid on priority basis to acquire land for constructing and managing the same. Invest the funds of the Trust in any manner conductive to the achievement of the objects of the trust. Deal with such things as are incidental or conductive to the above mentioned aims and objectives
Uplift the socio-economic conditions of the underprivileged individuals of Pakistan.
Serve the Humanity irrespective of the Caste, Colour, Creed and Religion.

Our History
Prem Kumar Sital Das Memorial Trust is the brain child of Vankwani family, a highly educated family. Luckily all the family members are pain bearers of human sufferings. They decided to build a model village where the native people of Tharparker can get access to many welfare projects in education and health sector, to be built in Premnagar. Our model village Prem Nagar was founded in 25 October, 2021 in Islamkot, Tharparker.
2021How it all began
It all began with untimely and mournful demise of Dr. Prem Kumar in April 2021. Vankwani family had the rich legacy of Dr. Sital Das, their father and Dr. Prem Kumar their elder brother, the legacy of pain for humanity. Vankwani family converted this sad demise into a cure for broken hearts and decided to make a state_of_the_art model village for hunger striken dwellers of Thar. They decided to take forward the legacy of their elder brother and make Premnagar a model village. Premnagar has multiple opportunities for the people of Thar in education and health sector. Many welfare organizations, including SOS village, Dar ul Sakoon etc are establishing their set ups in Premnagar. Similarly many educational institutes are being established here like Thar University, Liaqat University of Medical and health Sciences Campus, Nursing and Para Medical Institute etc. A Public School is near complition. A Natural History Museum is under construction, in order to preserve the cultural and natural heritage of Thar. There is a lot more to come in the near future for the betterment of the dwellers of Tharparkar.
